Folio 2 iodine -free film -coated tablets (pack size: 90 pc) is a nutritional supplement from the 13th week until the end of breastfeeding. The micronutrients folic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin D3 play a special role for the development of the child

Folic acid is particularly important because it is necessary for all cell division and cell growth processes - and thus for the development of the organs and the nervous system - for the end of the neural tube and for the growth of the maternal tissue. Accordingly, it is also important for life and should be available to the body in sufficient quantities at the beginning of pregnancy.
Vitamin B12 is needed by folic acid to exercise their tasks, because the two vitamins work closely together in all areas. Vitamin B12 is also important for the normal functions of the nerve and immune system, but also for the normal formation of red blood cells and the energy balance of the immune system.
Vitamin D3 contributes to the normal development of the skeleton, muscle and immune system. In addition, if there is sufficient care, the risks of certain complications during pregnancy can be reduced (such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, SGA children or premature birth). And: It was found that the allergies of children are lower if their mothers were equipped with enough vitamin D during pregnancy.
