I took pantoprazole for years due to reflux. Because of the possible serious side effects, I wanted an alternative. These chewable tablets have been recommended by a doctor to be taken only when necessary. They work immediately, just chewing takes some getting used to due to the substance, but tastes pleasantly fresh.
