Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if you are allergic to Uzara root dry extract, wheat strength or one of the other components of this medicine
  • if they are treated at the same time as certain heart remedies (herzhicative glycosides)
  • if you suffer from magnesium deficiency (hypomagnesaemia)
  • if you suffer from potassium deficiency (hypocalaemia)
  • during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
• In any case, infants and toddlers are to be excluded from self -medication.

dosage

• Always take this medicine exactly as described here or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure are.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the recommended dose is
  • Adults and children from the age of 12
    • On the 1st day of treatment:
      • 5 covered tablets (corresponding to 200 mg dry extract) as a single dose.
    • On the following days until the complaints subsided:
      • 3 to 6 times a day 1 covered tablet (corresponding to 120- 240 mg dry extract per day).
    • A daily maximum dose of 6 covered tablets must not be exceeded.
  • Children aged 6 to 11 years
    • On the 1st day of treatment
      • 1 excessive tablet 3 times a day (corresponding to 120 mg dry extract per day).
    • On the following days until the complaints subsided:
      • 2 to 3 times a day 1 covered tablet (corresponding to 80- 120 mg dry extract per day).
    • A daily maximum dose of 3 covered tablets must not be exceeded.
      • 1 covered tablet contains 40 mg dry extract from Uzara root (4 - 6: 1).

 

• Duration of the application
  • Take the drug until your symptoms subsided, but at most for up to 7 days.
  • Please speak to your doctor if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • If you have taken large amounts of the drug than you should, put the medicine off and contact a doctor immediately so that he can decide on how to proceed. He will orientate himself to the clinical picture when treating an overdose and take appropriate countermeasures.
