1. What is Adiclair and what is it used for?

The Nystatin contained in Adiclair acts specifically against infectious diseases with Candida Albicans and other fungi. Nystatin is bound to the cell membranes, inhibits growth and destroys the fungal cells. Adiclair is used in skin infections with nystatin-sensitive yeast fibries.

2. What do you need to consider before the application of Adiclair?

Adiclair must not be used in known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient Nystatin, methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate (parabenes) or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.

Take special care with Adiclair, if the following applies:
Children: Due to the high osmolarity of Nystatin, an application is advised against very underweight and immature premature babies.

When applying adiclair with other medicines:
Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you take / use other medicines or recently taken / applied, even if it is non-prescription medicines. There are no known interactions with other medicines. Note: In the treatment of adiclair in the genital and anal area, paraffin can lead to a reduction in the tensile strength due to the adjuvant at the same time using condoms from latex and thus impairing the safety of such condoms.

Pregnancy and breast feeding period:
Nystatin, the active ingredient in Adiclair, is hardly absorbed in a therapeutic dose of oral administration, over the intact skin or over the mucous membranes. Nystatin does not happen the placeable barrier, and a transition into the breast milk is also not to be expected. Adiclair can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Driveion and use of machines:
There are no special precautions required.

Important information about specific ingredients of Adiclair:
Methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate (parabenics) can cause hypersensitivity reactions, even late reactions. Cetyl alcohol can locally limited skin irritation (e.g. Contact dermatitis). Propylene glycol can cause skin irritation.

3. How is Adiclair to apply?

Always use Adiclair exactly as directed in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Dosage:
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Adiclair use 2-3 times a day, in severe cases more often.

Type of application:
For orders on the skin. Apply adiclair thinly and rub easily.

Duration of application:
In the treatment of yeast infections, all infection herds on the skin and the mucous membranes must be completely eliminated to avoid relapses. After decaying the disease, the application for the safety of the treatment success should continue for another 8-10 days. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of adiclair is too strong or too weak.

If you used a larger amount of adiclair than you should:
If you accidentally apply Adiclair more frequently than intended, this usually has no adverse effects. In this case, set the application as described in the dosage instructions or prescribed by your doctor.

If you forget the application of Adiclair:
Do not apply twice the dose, but use the application as it is specified in this leaflet or prescribed by your doctor.
