Your doctor has prescribed Adiclair® Ointment, through which we would like to inform you about.

Active substance: Nystatin

Composition:
1 g Adiclair Ointment contains 100,000 I.e. Nystatin.
Auxiliaries: DC fluid paraffin, zinc oxide, polyethylene.

Application areas:
Nystatin-sensitive fungal infections (Candida albicans and others) The skin of the entire body, in particular treatment of mycoses in the field of skin folds and in the diaper area (mycotic diaper dermatitis).

Contraindications:
Adiclair Ointment should not be used in known hypersensitivity to Nystatin.

Side effects:
The Nystatin contained in the Adiclair Ointment is generally well tolerated upon external use. In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Interactions with other means:
Not known.

Dosage instructions, type and duration of the application:
Unless otherwise prescribed, apply 2 - 3 times a day to the diseased skin parts, in severe cases more often.
After decaying the disease, the application should be continued for securing the treatment success for another 8 -10 days.

Hints:
Adiclair ointment Do not store over 25 ° C!
After expiry of the expiry date, Adiclair® ointment should no longer be used.

Store drug out of reach of children!

Characteristics:
The Nystatin contained in Adiclair Ointment acts specifically against infectious diseases with Candida Albicans and other fungi. The Nystatin is bound to the cell membranes, inhibits growth and destroys the fungal cells.

Supporting measures:
The clothing should be air-permeable and not too tight to avoid humid conditions. It is recommended to wear cotton linen.
The laundry as well as washcloths and towels should be changed frequently and boiled.
Furthermore, it may also be necessary to treat a fungal infection of the gastrointestinal tract.
