Field of use

Ambrohexal coughing solder 30mg (pack size: 50 pc) is a medicine for the expectorant for acute and chronic diseases of the lungs and the lower airways, which are associated with a disturbance of mucus formation and transport.

Mode of action

The active ingredient ambroxol hydrochloride solves the stuck mucus in the airways, makes it thinner, so that it can be coughed up more easily. As a result, the mucosal can decrease.

Active ingredient:
30 mg ambroxol hydrochloride (27.36 mg ambroxol)

Other ingredients:
Calcium hydrogen phosphate 2-water, carboxymethylar stake (sodium salt), lactose-1 water, magnesium stearate, corn starch, high-disperses silicon dioxide, carbohydrates

Contradictions

Thefsitivity reactions can occur against all medicines, then you have to stop taking the medication immediately. If an allergy to the active ingredient or one of the other components of the drug is known, it must not be applied.

- If the respiratory tract and larger amounts of secretions (e.g. in rare malignant zilia syndrome), the medicine should only be used with caution due to a possible secretion.

- If kidney function or severe liver disease is restricted, the medicine may only be used with special caution (i.e. in larger application distances or in reduced dose).

- Due to the high content of the active ingredient, the medicine should not be used in children under 6 years of age.

dosage

Application recommendation of Ambrohexal cough solder 30mg (pack size: 50 pc):

• The following information applies unless your doctor prescribed the medicine. Please adhere to the application regulations, otherwise the drug cannot work properly. If you are not quite sure, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Children from 6 to 12 years take ½ tablet 2 to 3 times a day (corresponding to 30-45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
  • Young people aged 12 and over and adults take 1 tablet 3 times a day during the first 2-3 days (corresponding to 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day), then 1 tablet 2 times a day (corresponding to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
  • An increase in effectiveness may be possible by taking 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride (corresponds to 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
  • Notice:
    • If you suffer from a limited kidney function or a serious liver disease, you must enlarge the revenue distances from the medicine or reduce the dose.

Taking

The tablets are taken over or regardless of the meals of uncreduced with sufficient fluid (e.g. water, tea or fruit juice).

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking the medicine is required,
  • if you suffer from a limited kidney function or severe liver disease. You may only take the medicine at larger intervals or reduced dose.

  • The drug is not suitable for children under the age of 6 due to the high active ingredient content. Juice and drops with a lower active ingredient content are available for this age group.
  • Is very rare about that The occurrence of severe skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome and Lyell syndrome were reported in a temporal connection with the application of ambroxol. If the skin and mucosal changes are recovered, you should therefore immediately

Miscellaneous

In the case of severe kidney dysfunction, the conservation dose should be reduced accordingly or the distance between the applications should be extended. Other dosage forms are available for this.
