Other notes:
The biotin widespread in the food is bound to protein (food of animal origin), as well as in free form (plants). In addition, biotin is formed in the intestine of man. The daily requirement in humans can only be estimated. The amount of 50 μg up to 200 μg per day at average cost habits is considered sufficient. Even high single doses of biotin did not solve pharmacological effects. Deficiency symptoms do not usually occur in humans. Only due to the longer use of very large amounts of raw eggs and dialysis patients can cause a deficiency disease, the so-called egg protein damage. In addition, the most rare biotin-dependent, multiple carboxylase shortage of the biotin demand is increased due to a genetic defect.
