The drug always helped me well with nervous gastrointestinal complaints. Is always in the first aid kit for "larger" trips like to Asia to relax the stomach and not even make it susceptible to "actual" germs. If you know each other and react nervously to such situations, the medication can certainly help. On vacation, however, I rather take the tablets with me.
