  • 1 spray in every nose opening once to three times a day
  • The use of the nasal spray should be limited to a maximum of 3 applications per day

• Duration of the application

  • The use of chronic runny nose may only be carried out under medical control due to the risk of the loss of the nasal mucosa

• If you have used a larger amount than you should,
  • if you inform your doctor immediately;

Taking

• The medicine is intended for nasal application.
• Notice:
  • Remove the protective cap before the first application of the pump spray and pump several times until an even spray lever escapes.
  • After that and for other applications, hold spray nozzles to every nose opening and pump them once.
  • The use of the pump spray should be supported by slight inhaling through the nose. After use, the protective cap is back on the spray head.

  • In the following illnesses and situations, you may only use the preparation after consultation with your doctor:
    • Patients who are treated with monoaminoxidase inhibitors (MAO inhibitors), tricyclic antidepressants and other potentially blood pressure-enhancing medicines;
    • increased intraocular pressure of other genesis;
    • severe cardiovascular diseases (e.g. B. coronary heart disease, high blood pressure);
    • Phäochromocytom (tumor of the adrenal gland);
    • Metabolic disorders (e.g. overactive thyroid, diabetes);
    • Porphyria (hereditary enzyme defect or acquired metabolic disorder with disturbed porphyrin synthesis in the blood-oriented system and/or in the liver);
    • Prostate hyperplasia (enlargement of the prostate);
    • Patients who react strongly to sympathomimetics, e.g. B. with insomnia, dizziness, etc.
  • Permanent use of snack -swelling sniffing agents can lead to chronic swelling and finally to the loss of the nasal mucosa.
  • Patients with glaucoma should interview the doctor before using naphazoline medicines.

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • With longer use or higher dosage of naphazoline sniffed medicines, effects on cardiovascular functions may not be excluded. In these cases, the ability to participate in road traffic and to operate machines can be impaired.
  • The known side effect of fatigue can also lead to restrictions on the ability to drive and the ability to use machines.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this drug.
• Pregnancy
  • Naphazolin should not be used during pregnancy, since inadequate studies on the unborn child are available.

- The permanent use of slimming snacks can lead to chronic swelling and finally to the loss of the nasal mucosa.
