Bisacodyl Gastrointestinal Tablets 5 mg

Active ingredient: bisacodyl

Factor from the group of triarylmethanes.

Composition:
Pharmacically active ingredients: a gastrointestinal tablet contains
5 mg bisacodyl.
Non-effective components: lactose, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, talc, macrogol, polymethacrylates.

Contraindications:
When should you not apply Solaxtabs?
In intestinal closure and hypersensitivity to bisacodyl or any other component of the medicament. Children under 2 Years, Solaxtabs may not take.
Constipation, combined with other complaints such as abdominal pain, vomiting and fever can sign a serious illness (Intestinal closure, acute inflammation
be in the abdominal area). In such complaints, you should not take Solaxtabs or other medications and seek medical advice immediately.
For diseases associated with faults of the water and electrolyte household, they should not occupy Solaxtabs.

What do you need to consider in pregnancy and lactation?
There are no case reports on unwanted effects in pregnancy and lactation. Controlled studies were not carried out. Solaxtabs should not be used in pregnancy in high doses and for a long time.
Solaxtabs should not be used during breastfeeding, as adequate information about a possible transition to the breast milk does not exist.

What precautions should be taken?
There are no special precautions to be observed.
Note: The intake of laxatives should only be done in the short term in constipation!
In general, treatment with Solaxtabs is only recommended if they are changing their diet (by increasing recording of fiber and sufficient fluid intake) as well as by changing their lifestyle

Interactions with other means:
What other medicines influence the effect of solaxtabs?
Solaxtabs can use the potassium loss due to other medicinal products (e.g. Diuretics) reinforce.
The sensitivity to forth-female glycosides may be amplified due to potassium losses.
Gastrointestinal tablets:
Milk and neutralizing gastric agents (antacids) should be taken at the earliest half an hour after solaxtabs, agent-resisted tablets.

Dosage instructions, type and duration of the application:
The following information, as far as your doctor has not prescribed Solaxtabs otherwise. Please stick to the application regulations, as Solaxtabs can not act properly!
How much and how often should you take solaxbs?
Unless otherwise prescribed, children receive over 2 years 1 Gastrointestinal tablet (corresponding to 5 mg bisacodyl).
Adults and children received more than 10 years 1 - 2 Gastrointestinal tablets (corresponding to 5 - 10 mg bisacodyl).
The intake is best in the evening or in the morning sober with plenty of fluid. The intake in the evening leads after about 10 hours to the intestinal emptying.

How long should you take solaxtabs?

Which side effects can occur when using Solaxtabs?
Side effects are rare in short-term intake. These consist in bloating, abdominal pain and hypersensitivity reactions.
