-HPLC-Analysis (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) is a method for separating, identifying and quantifying chemical compounds in a sample. The HPLC-analysis is used in many areas of chemistry, pharmacy and biotechnology to determine the purity and concentration of compounds and to carry out qualitative and quantitative analyses. The extraction ratio of Ashwagandha Extract Capsules 500 mg by ZeinPharma^® was confirmed with the HPLC-method.

Can I open the capsules?
-In principle, the capsules can be opened without risk. Our Ashwagandha Extract has a fairly neutral, slightly buttery flavor and is not bitter like other Ashwagandha extracts, making it an excellent choice for food and beverage use. We recommend warm milk before going to bed or at midday in the Golden Milk.

At what time of the day should I ideally use the capsules?
-Our recommendations:
• After dinner, preferably 30 minutes before bedtime
• 30 minutes before physical activity
• At noon 30 minutes before the main meal

What is the best way to store the capsules?

-It is often assumed that the ashwagandha in any capsule is equivalent to an extract. However, this quite appropriate assumption is exploited by suppliers, since they only fill the capsules with Ashwagandha root powder and add an inferior leaf powder extract mixture.

The powder is then sold as a comparative 10% extract. However, these capsules are far from a high-quality extract!

-For our Ashwagandha extract powder KSM-66^® a specially developed extraction method (without toxic or environmentally harmful solvents) is used. The Ashwagandha KSM-66^® extract is standardized according to the active ingredients and thus always contains the same ingredients.

Simple powder is basically the plant or root dried and ground, and thus does not have a real spectrum of action of the ingredients. It also takes a lot of powder to get the same amount of our KSM-66^® extract. The production takes place in India according to the highest quality, production and hygiene standards.

Milk contains fat that serves as a carrier for the fat-soluble components released from the root during the extraction process. The water-soluble components are extracted by the water used. The combination of water and milk thus enables a complete extraction of all relevant components of the Ashwagandha extract. In addition, milk can specifically help to reduce the bitter substances in Ashwagandha and thus contributes to the fact that the powder can also be consumed without a capsule.
