Intensively nourishing anti-itch body balm for very dry, sensitive skin prone to neurodermatitis

The moisturizing and repairing body balm Atoderm Intensive Baume by BIODERMA relieves itching and reduces the urge to scratch. Enriched with soothing active ingredients, this balm soothes irritations and permanently rebuilds the skin barrier.
Ideal for very dry, sensitive skin prone to neurodermatitis. For use on face and body and suitable for the whole family (except premature babies).

Atoderm Intensive Baume is suitable for very dry, sensitive skin prone to neurodermatitis.

Indication:
Very dry skin - and the associated severe itching - reduce well-being. Triggered by diseases such as neurodermatitis (atopic dermatitis), hives or contact eczema, the protective barrier of the skin changes, making it more permeable to stimuli. The natural lipid and moisture regulation gets out of balance, which causes the skin to become tense, rough and cracked, and inflammation to occur more easily as a result. The excruciating itching tempts you to scratch, which further aggravates the symptoms.
Severely irritated skin needs soothing, restorative and, above all, effective anti-itch care that can be used over the long term, including alongside therapy. Atoderm Intensive Baume is specially tailored to these needs and works on the cause and sustainably.

How the product works:
Zinc gluconate and ß-sitosterol: Zinc gluconate and ß-sitosterol relieve inflammation and eczema. PEA: The dermatological active ingredient PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) has an anti-pruritic effect. Patent SKIN BARRIER THERAPYTM: The patented active ingredient SKIN BARRIER THERAPYTM (sugar ester) effectively inhibits the growth of itching-causing bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus) and thus brings the skin flora back into balance. Patent LIPIGENIUMTM: The patented active ingredient LIPIGENIUMTM (biomimetic lipids + essential fatty acids) activates the formation of lipids and proteins in the skin and strengthens the skin barrier. In this way, Atoderm Intensive Baume also helps to prevent severe flare-ups of eczema in neurodermatitis.(1) The advantages: the skin is intensively soothed, regenerated and the risk of secondary inflammation reduced. BIODERMA Sugar Base D.A.F.TM: BIODERMA Sugar Base D.A.F.TM is a combination of three biomimetic soothing sugars that prevent the inflammatory process.
9-fold purified water: Like all BIODERMA products, Atoderm Intensive Baume contains 9-fold purified water, which is very similar to the cell water in our skin cells and is therefore highly compatible.
The formulation respects the biology of the skin and brings it back to its natural balance over the long term.

Application:
Apply Atoderm Intensive baume to cleansed skin 1-2 times a day. Soaks in very quickly. For use on face and body and suitable for the whole family (except premature babies). Before you apply the body balm, cleanse the skin with a mild product, such as the BIODERMA Atoderm Huile de douche moisturizing shower oil or the intensively nourishing BIODERMA Atoderm Intensive gel moussant cleansing gel. In the case of acute itching, the anti-itching spray BIODERMA Atoderm SOS Spray can also be used in combination as an immediate aid.
