Frontline Spray, 2.5 mg/ml, spray for use on the skin, solution for dogs and cats

Active ingredient: fipronil.
Areas of application: for the treatment of dogs and cats against flea, tick and hair, tickets. Knocking of fleas (CTENOCEPHALIDES Spp.). The insecticide effectiveness against adult fleas remains in dogs up to 3 months and up to 6 weeks in cats. Kidnoting of ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). Application recommendation

Frontline® should be used regularly, because only if there is continuously active ingredient is there a complete protection. The effectiveness against adult fleas remains up to 4 weeks in dogs for up to 3 months, in cats up to 6 weeks.

Spray formulation - tailored to The weight of the animal:

How does Frontline® work?

After application, the active ingredient is stored in the sebaceous glands and continuously released into the fur and the skin of the animal with the sebum. For optimal distribution, the animals should not be bathed 48 hours before and after the treatment.
Parasites take the active ingredient when contacted with fur and skin over the tank and are killed.
Frontline® Spray can be used in puppies from the first day of life, even with pregnant and seamsters. The physical contact with the treated animal is harmless after drying the fur.

Questions & Answers

Why do I see ticks after the treatment?
Frontline® kills over 90% of the ticks within 48 hours. Due to the principle of action, however, it is possible that temporarily living ticks are visible on the animal that have re -affected the animal. However, they are killed as soon as sufficient active ingredient has penetrated the tank and can then be easily removed.

Why do I see fleas after treatment?
Frontline® kills over 95% of the fleas within 24 hours. As soon as fleas are discovered on the animal, the eggs, larvae and dolls have usually spread around the area. Because the adult fleas on the animal only make up about 5% of the flea infestation. New fleas can always develop from the flea brood, so the entire flea cycle must be broken to get rid of the plague. This is only the case if there is no more offspring, which may take several months. The flea brood can affect the entire home environment. Therefore, it is recommended to mechanically clean the environment as a supplementary measure by dusting daily vacuuming and washing the affected textiles and the flea brood to kill suitable insecticides (e.g. from Frontline Petcare).

Do I brush Frontline® from the fur when I comb the animal?
In the case of routine grooming, an impairment of the effectiveness of Frontline® is not to be expected.

What happens if my animal cleans up after the application?
After licking the solution, increased saliva can occur temporarily, which is mainly caused by an unpleasant taste of the carrier fabrics.

What happens if I accidentally spray on my animal?
Frontline® is mainly saved in the upper layers of the skin The skin is negligible. Therefore, no symptoms of symptoms can be expected even when overdosing.

For how many treatments is a 100 ml spray bottle enough?

Does Frontline® also help against mites?
