Field of use

Godamed 300mg ASS TAH (pack size: 100 pc) are used as part of standard therapy to prevent another myocardial infarction (pure -color prophylaxis).

Godamed 300mg ASS Tah (pack size: 100 pc) are not suitable for the therapy of pain conditions.

Mode of action

Acetylsalicylic acid is an inhibition of cyclooxygenase. In addition to other effects Godamed 300mg ASA Tah (pack size: 100 pc) The platelet aggregation irreversible, thus improve the flow properties of the blood and help prevent vascular closures.

• 300 mg acetylsalicylic acid

Contradictions

Godamed 300mg ASS Tah (pack size: 100 pc) should not be used at:

• known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients
• acute stomach and intestinal ulcers
• pathologically increased bleeding tendency
• Liver and kidney failure
• heavy, non -set cardiac muscle weakness
• allergic reactions and asthma attacks occurred in the past when taking salicylates or other non -steroidal inflammatory inhibitors
• in combination with methotrexate 15 mg or more per week

• Hypersensitivity to other inflammatory inhibitors/anti -rheumatics or other allergens
• existing allergies, asthma, hay fever, nasal mucosal swelling, chronic respiratory diseases
• simultaneous therapy with coagulation inhibitors
• Gastric or intestinal ulcers or gastric, intestinal bleeding in the past
• Oxalate urolithiasis
• Iron storage diseases
• restricted liver and kidney function
• Patients with brain bleeding
• Patients with gout
• before operations

The use of Godamed 300mg ASS TAH (pack size: 100 pc) during pregnancy and lactation, as well as in children under 12 years and in children and adolescents with feverish disease symptoms is contrainduced.

dosage

Godamed 300mg ASS Tah (pack size: 100 pc) should be taken exactly according to the instructions of a doctor. The following dosage is recommended:

• To prevent another heart attack (pure color prophylaxis): 1 tablet daily

The tablets are to be taken as uncroache with plenty of liquid (water) after a meal. Godamed 300mg ASS Tah (pack size: 100 pc) can also be sucked or chewed. Do not take on an empty stomach! The medicine is intended for long -term use after instruction from a doctor.

Taking

- Take tablets with plenty of liquid, dissolve in some liquid if necessary.
- Do not take tablets on an empty stomach.
- The 1st tablet should be bitten or chewed for treatment for acute heart muscle infarction.

• Warnings and Precautions
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine:
    • in the case of hypersensitivity (allergy) against other pain and inflammatory medicines, other medicines against rheumatism or other allergy trigger substances
    • when taking non -steroidal inflammation inhibitory at the same timern, such as ibuprofen and naproxen (medicinal products for pain, fever or inflammation)
    • if other allergies exist (e.g. with skin reactions, itching, nettle fever)
    • in asthma bronchial, hay fever, nasal mucus swelling (nasal polyps) or chronic respiratory diseases
    • if treated with anticoagulant medicines (e.g. Cumarinderivates, heparin - with the exception of low -dosed heparin treatment)
    • in the case of gastric and intestinal ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding in the history
    • with limited liver function
    • with limited kidney function or reduced heart and vascular blood flow (e.g. vascular disease of the kidneys, heart muscle weakness, reduction in blood volume, larger operations, blood poisoning or greater bleeding): Acetylsalicylic acid can further increase the risk of kidney functional disorder and acute kidney failure
    • before operations (even with smaller interventions such as pulling a tooth): there may be increased tendency to bleed. Please inform your doctor or dentist if you have taken the medicine.
    • in patients with severe glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenic defect: acetylsalicylic acid can cause accelerated breakdown or decay of red blood cells or a certain form of anemia. This risk can be increased by factors such as high doses, fever or acute infections
  • What else do you need to look out for?
    • Acetylsalicylic acid reduces uric acid excretion in low doses. In the case of correspondingly endangered patients, this may trigger a gout attack.
    • If you cut or injure yourself, it may take a little longer than usual until bleeding comes to a standstill. This is related to the effect on the drug. Smaller cuts and injuries (e.g. when shaving) are usually irrelevant. With unusual bleeding (in an unusual place or an unusual duration), contact your doctor.
    • Acetylsalicylic acid-containing medicines should not be used for a long time or in higher doses without questioning the doctor.
  • Children and adolescents
    • In children and adolescents with febrile illnesses, the medicine should only be applied to medical instructions and only applied if other measures do not work. If these diseases occur with long vomiting, this can be a sign of Reye syndrome, a very rare but life-threatening illness that is absolutely necessary for immediate medical treatment.

Pregnancy

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should only take medication after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist!

Miscellaneous

- Acetylsalicylic acid should only be applied to children and adolescents with febrile illnesses due to the possible occurrence of liver and brain dysfunction (reye syndrome) on medical instructions and only if other measures do not work.

- In rare cases, anemia can occur through hidden gastrointestinal blood loss after prolonged use of the drug.

- Dizziness and ears can be a sign of overdose, especially in children and older people. In these cases, the doctor must be notified.

- If signs of an infection appear or worsen during the use of the drug, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Therapy monitoring/control measures:
- If the recommended dosage is exceeded, the liver values (transaminases) can increase. Therefore, regular control of the transaminases, especially in children, is required.
