Like niacin and vitamin B12, it promotes a functioning, normal energy metabolism. Vitamin B1 has an important function for heart health and contributes to normal heart function. Folic acid is an essential vitamin that the body cannot produce itself. Folic acid contributes to blood formation and, together with vitamin B12 and magnesium, has an essential function in cell division.

Vitamin B12 promotes the formation of red blood cells and, like folic acid, contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism. The vitamins niacin and B12 help reduce tiredness and fatigue.
