Field of use

IBU -LYSIN 1A Pharma 400 mg film -coated tablets (pack size: 20 pc) - quick help with headaches. For short -term symptomatic treatment of headaches and migraines.

Quick help is required for tension headaches and migraines! It's good that Ibu-Lysin- 1 A Pharma® 400 mg. Because the film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient ibuprofen as ibuprofen DL-lysine salt. The proven active ingredient ibuprofen can thus develop its analgesic effects even faster. But not only that: ibu-lysine- 1 A Pharma® 400 mg also has a long-lasting pain reliever. The pain can be alleviated up to 8 hours.

IBU-LYSIN 1A Pharma 400 mg film-coated tablets (pack size: 20 pc) are suitable for use in adults and adolescents from the age of 12 with a body weight from 40 kilograms.

The film -coated tablets should be taken with water.

For patients who have a sensitive stomach, it is advisable to take IBU-LYSIN- 1 A Pharma® 400 mg during meals. The film -coated tablets have a breaker on one side. This only serves to share the tablet if you have difficulty swallowing them as a whole - but not for sharing the tablet in the same doses.

The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents from 40 kg bodyweight (12 years and older):
Single dose: 1 film -coated tablet (corresponding to 400 mg ibuprofen)
Daily maximum dose: max. 3 film -coated tablets (corresponding to 1,200 mg ibuprofen)

The distance between the income should be at least 6 hours.

Important: The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration required to relieve the symptoms.
If the intake is required for more than 3 days or if the symptoms worsen, you should obtain medical advice.

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine.
  • Side effects can be minimized if the lowest effective effective dose required for symptom control is used over the shortest possible period.
  • Security in the gastrointestinal tract
    • The simultaneous use of this with other non-steroidal anti-rheumatics (NSAID), including so-called COX-2 inhibitors (cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors), should be avoided.
  • Older patients
    • In older patients, side effects occur more frequently after using NSAR, in particular bleeding and breakthroughs in the gastrointestinal tract, which can be fatal. Therefore, particularly careful medical monitoring is required in older patients.
  • Bleeding, ulcers and breakthroughs (perforations) in the gastrointestinal tract
    • Bleeding, ulcers or perforations in the gastrointestinal tract, also with a fatal outcome, were reported during treatment with all NSAIDs. They occurred with or without prior warning signs or serious events in the gastrointestinal tract in the prehistory at any time of therapy.
    • The risk of the occurrence of bleeding, ulcers or perforations in the gastrointestinal tract is higher with increasing NSAR dose, in patients with ulcers in the prehistory, especially with the complications bleeding or breakthrough (see category "contraindication"), as well as at older patients. These patients should begin treatment with the lowest available dose. Please speak to your doctor, since in these cases a combination treatment with protective medicines (e.g. misoprostol or proton pump inhibitor) could be considered. This also applies if you also take low-dose acetylsalicylic acid or other active ingredients that are likely to increase the risk of gastrointestinal diseases.
    • If there have been side effects in the gastrointestinal tract in the past, especially at older age, you should report all unusual symptoms in the abdomen (especially gastrointestinal bleeding), especially at the beginning of therapy.
    • Caution is advisable if you apply medicinal products at the same time that can increase the risk of ulcers or bleeding, such as: B. corticosteroids to take, anti-blood clotting drugs such as warfarin, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors that are used, among other things, to treat depression, or thrombocyte aggregation inhibitors such as ASA (see category "Interactions").
    • If there is bleeding or ulcers in the gastrointestinal tract during treatment with the medicine, the treatment must be ended.
    • In patients with a gastrointestinal disease in the prehistory (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease), caution should be used because their condition can deteriorate (see category "side effects").
  • Effects on the blood vessels of the heart and brain (cardiovascular and cerebrovascular effects)
    • Anti -inflammatory agents/painkillers such as ibuprofen can go hand in hand with a slightly increased risk of heart attack or stroke, especially when using in high doses. Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment.
    • You should take your treatment before taking this Discuss the preparation with your doctor or pharmacist if you

    • Use of this medicine should be avoided during a chickenpox infection (varicella infection).
  • Infections
    • This medicine can cover signs of infections such as fever and pain. Therefore, it is possible that the preparation will delay adequate treatment of the infection, which can lead to an increased risk of complications. This was observed in bacterial pneumonia and bacterial skin infections in connection with chickenpox. If you take this medicine during an infection and stop or worsen your symptoms of infection or worsen, consult a doctor immediately.
  • Other information
    • The medicine should only be used with the strict weighing of the benefit-risk ratio
      • for certain innate blood formation disorders (e.g. acute intermittent porphyria)
      • for certain autoimmune diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus and mixed collagenosis).
    • A particularly careful medical monitoring is required
      • directly after larger surgical interventions
      • in allergies (e.g. skin reactions to other medicines, asthma, hay fever), chronic nasal mucosal swelling or chronic, respiratory respiratory diseases narrowing the respiratory tract
      • with limited kidney or liver function
      • with drying out (dehydration)
      • if you have an infection - see under "Infections".
    • Severe acute hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. anaphylactic shock) were observed in very rare cases. At the first sign of a hypersensitivity reaction after taking the medicine, the treatment must be canceled. The symptoms corresponding, medically required measures must be initiated by expert persons.
    • Ibuprofen can temporarily inhibit the platelet function (thrombocyte aggregation). Patients with blood clotting disorders should therefore be carefully monitored.
    • If this drug is used for a long time, regular control of your liver values, kidney function and blood count is required.
    • When taking the preparation before surgical interventions, the doctor or dentist must be questioned or informed.
    • The longer use of all kinds of painkillers against headaches can make them worse. If this is the case or if this is suspected, medical advice should be obtained and treatment can be broken off. The diagnosis of headache in medication overuse (Medication Overuse Headache, MOH) should be assumed in patients who suffer from frequent or daily headaches, although (or precisely because) they regularly take medicines for headaches.
    • In general, the habitual intake of pain relievers, especially when combining several pain relieving active ingredients, can lead to permanent kidney damage with the risk of kidney failure (analgesic nephropathy). This risk may be increased with salt loss and lack of fluid due to physical stress. The habitual intake of painkillers must therefore be avoided.
  • Children and adolescents
    • The medicine must not be used in children under the age of 12 or adolescents below 40 kg body weight.
    • There is a risk of kidney dysfunction in dehydrated young people.

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • Since when using the drug in higher dosage, central nervous side effects such as tiredness and dizziness can occur, the reaction capacity can be changed in individual cases and the ability to actively participate in road traffic and to operate machines can be impaired. This applies even more in combination with alcohol. You can then no longer react quickly and specifically to unexpected and sudden events. In this case, do not drive a car or other vehicles. Do not operate any tools or machines. Do not work without a safe grip.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect to be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this drug.
• Pregnancy
  • If pregnancy is determined during the application of the medicine, the doctor must be notified. Do not take this medicine in pregnancy in the last 3 months. Avoid using this drug in the first 6 months of pregnancy, unless the doctor recommends anything else.
• Breastfeeding
  • Ibuprofen and its dismantling products only pass into breast milk in small quantities. The drug can therefore be taken during breastfeeding if it is used in the recommended dosage and over the shortest possible period.
• Reproductive ability
  • This preparation belongs to a group of drugs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) that can affect the fertility of women . This effect is reversible after stopping the drug (reversible).
