Field of use

milgamma® Mono 50 contains vitamin B1 for the nerve cells. The unique active ingredient Benfotiamine, a variant of the vitamin B1, is absorbed 5 times better by the body than conventional vitamin B1. For the treatment and prophylaxis of vitamin B1 deficiency states.

Contradictions

milgamma® Mono 50 must not be taken if you are allergic to the active ingredient Benfotiamine or against Thiamin or one of the other components of this drug mentioned in section 6 of the use information.

dosage

For prevention:
- 1-2 times a week 1 dragee

For treatment:
- 1-3 times a day 1 dragee
- In rare cases, more

For the therapy of neuropathies, Milgamma®mono 50 should initially be taken over a period of at least 3 weeks. Then further treatment according to the therapeutic success.

Taking

- The dragees are taken with some liquid.

Patient information

- The duration of the treatment depends on the success of the treatment.

Pregnancy

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should only take medication after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist!

- The recommended vitamin B1 intake during pregnancy and breastfeeding is 1.4-2.3 mg.
- Vitamin B1 is excreted in breast milk.
- The drug should only be taken during pregnancy and lactation if a significant vitamin B1 deficiency has been proven. The drug may only be used at short notice, since there is no experience with overdoses during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The B1 deficiency can occur at:
- Lack of deficiency and malnutrition (e.g. Beriberi)
- Zero diet
- Digestive disorder
- Chronic alcoholism
- Increasing increased (e.g. pregnancy and breastfeeding)
