Contradictions

Do not apply Thermacare in selective pain (pack size: 6 pc):

• If the heat cells are leaking and/or the envelope is damaged
• Together with medical inclusion, plasters or other types of warmth
• On sick, injured or damaged skin
• On bruises and swelling that have occurred in the last 48 hours
• On body positions without heat sensation
• For people who do not remove the product themselves or cannot follow the application instructions, e.g. B. children or some older people
• On the face or on the head, on the chest, arm inside or armpit, finger, lower abdomen, bar, knee throat, feet or toes

Application recommendation of Thermacare for selective pain (pack size: 6 pc):

Open the bag just before application. It can take up to 30 minutes for Thermacare to reach its therapeutic temperature. Place on the painful area with the darker side or with the adhesive surface to the skin.
From the age of 55 wear over thin clothes and not directly on the skin, not on the face or head, on the chest, arm inside or armpit, fingers, lower abdomen, bar, knee throat, feet or toes. When using the wrist and with flexible use, make sure that the heat cells do not overlap.
Neck / shoulder / wrist variant: For maximum effectiveness, we recommend wearing thermacare for up to 12 hours. Back variant/flexible application: wear up to 8 hours. Neck / shoulder / wrist variant: Do not apply Thermacare on the same pain area for more than 12 hours within 24 hours. Back variant/flexible application: Do not apply longer than 8 hours within 24 hours.

Patient information

The envelope must never be heated in the microwave, in the oven or in any other way - fire risk!

Hints

Every heat -generating product can lead to skin irritation or burns. To reduce this risk, please note the following information:

• Check your skin regularly for signs of skin irritation or burns. If these occur, end the application immediately
• If Thermacare feels too hot - end application
• Familiarize yourself with the heat sensitivity of your skin and initially only wear Thermacare during the day. Only then should you decide whether to use it while you sleep
• Do not exert any additional pressure on the product (do not lean against hard surfaces, for example) and do not wear it under tight clothes, tight hubs or belts
• Heat -generating products can lead to burns. This risk increases with age. From the age of 55, wear thermcare over thin clothes and do not apply while you sleep
• In order not to increase the risk of burns, remove Thermacare before an MRI examination (magnetic resonance imaging)
• Heat cells contain iron powder (approx. 2 g). When swallowing, skin or eye contact remove the envelope, rinse the affected area with water and immediately consult a doctor
• Never warm the product in a microwave and never try to heat it again, as it could catch fire
• Store outside the range of children and pets
