Field of use

Utipro Acute & Protect hard capsules (pack size: 15 pieces) is intended for the acute treatment and prevention of uncomplicated urinary tract infections (cystitis).

Fight the main cause of bladder infections
In about 80% of cases, bladder infections are caused by E. coli bacteria, which can get from the intestine into the bladder, for example.

Other causes of urinary tract infections

Cold can also weaken the immune system and make it easier for bacteria to enter the bladder. Excessive personal hygiene with aggressive washing lotions can weaken the mucous membranes of the urinary bladder and promote inflammation.

Can antibiotics also be avoided?
Antibiotics can quickly relieve symptoms of cystitis and fight the infection by killing the bacteria. In milder cases, however, the use of antibiotics is optional and depends on the individual judgment of the doctor.

If rapid symptomatic relief is desired, antibiotics may be an appropriate choice. However, if a woman can cope with the symptoms and wants to avoid antibiotic therapy, that is also possible.
