Maaloxan^® 25 MVAL Suspension
Act: algae, magnesium hydroxide.
Verw.-Geb.: To the symptom. Treated of diseases in which the stomach acid is to be bound: heartburn, acid-related stomach complaints, stomach or duodenum ulcers.
Notes: do not apply to children under the age of 12. Complaints that exist for more than 2 weeks have a clinical clarification. Other medicines should be taken at least 2 hours before or after taking Maaloxan chewing tablets.
Sorbitol, peppermint oil, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoat and propyl-4-hydroxybenzoat (parabens). Pharmacy.

Heartburn often occurs after eating. Even at night, the acidic feeling in the throat can rob the sleep, because while lying down the stomach acid rises even more easily into the esophagus. No matter which type of heartburn you are: With heartburn and acid-related stomach complaints Maaloxan^® has proven itself thanks to its multiple effects: Magnesium hydroxide binds excess gastric acid and thus relieves the burning pain. Application:
Knead the bag vigorously before use and then tear open at the marked area. Either put the bag content on a spoon and then take it undiluted or empty directly from the bag into the mouth.

Dosage (symptomatic treatment of heartburn and acid -related stomach complaints):
If necessary, take a Maaloxan 25 MVal Liquid several times a day. The daily dose should not exceed 4-6 Maaloxan Liquid a day.

Possible causes of heartburn
There can be different reasons for the return flow of gastric acid into the esophagus:
• The stomach produces too much stomach acid: the rising stomach acid can attack the mucous membrane of the esophagus freely.
• weakening of the speeches of the esophagus: Usually the sphincter prevents acidic stomach contents from increasing towards the esophagus. If it is weakened, the stomach acid has free path upwards.
